Outsourced Accounting – Yardi

Let us handle the accounting while you handle growing your business.  We will access your Yardi database, review and fix issues, and provide you with a monthly accounting package.

Below is our typical scope of services for monthly Yardi accounting services.  If you have additional needs, let us know and we can likely incorporate those into the service.   

Accounts Receivable/Revenue

  • Post recurring monthly charges and late fees, if not automated by the system.
  • Back billing utilities for residents who did not get the utility in their name (i.e. electricity).
  • Review and recording of any resident ledger adjustments.
  • Recording of other ancillary sources of income.

Accounts Payable/Expenses

  • Receipt and input of AP transactions into Yardi into client’s accounts payable workflow system. Rhythmic Financial will include initial coding for Client review and approval.
  • Process of payments to be made either via check or ACH on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Mailing of checks to vendors or delivery to management office.
  • Process management related billbacks and management fees.
  • Allocate payroll to the entities.
  • Maintain vendor records including W-9 and COIs, where needed.
  • Process security deposit accounting for past residents.

Financial Reporting

  • Monthly completion of bank reconciliation for bank accounts.
  • Monthly completion of credit card reconciliation for credit card accounts.
  • Preparation and posting of GPR reports.
  • Posting of ongoing journal entries.
  • Monthly reports provided including. But not limited to,
  • Balance Sheet
  • Income Statement
  • Cash Flow
  • Aged Receivable Report
  • Bank Reconciliation
